Catching up! Pic's...finally!

 

Hooray! Blogger is fixed...

or well what ever was the reason

I could not load my own pic's fixed!

 We are thankful!

January happenings.... 

First up was Daddy's birthday which his favorite cake is...

yellow with chocolate frosting!

Cute picture :)

 

 Then came time for the after holiday baking....

Lizzy made some very good

"Oatmeal Cookies" that had cranberries and scottie chips in them! YUM!

Some times it's nice after all the hub to have a home-made goodie delivered to your home.
So that's what we did for some we know...

 Anna &Lizzy made a delicious baked oatmeal with blueberries in it....

my favorite way to eat baked oatmeal. 

 And then came the snow...

and lots of it!

Mr.Penguin (a.k.a. Sam) absolutely loved every minuet of being out

to cut wood with Daddy, Matt, and Lizzy!

Is'nt he just the cutest little boy ever?!

I am so blessed  to call him my little brother.

 Powder room progress....

and the girls all getting very excited about it! :)

 

 Nice light fixture....

 

And sewing!

Jessica has had alot of fun making these for friends and family!

(and the little girls love them alot too)

 

 And Millie has been enjoying these cold winter days....

all the more time for her lay in front of the wood stove!

It is like her personal heater...HA!

 

Also, Jessica knows how to make

the very best french bread in the whole wide world.....

it is super delicious!

 

Anna was up taking pic's of the gorgeous sun-rise....

 

And now most of the snow is melted....

it seems to me that we are having a

"southern" winter snow wise but

"Alaskan/Canadian" winter temperature wise!

I think that -14 with -25 wind chills?

What do you think Mrs Henry...degrees is as Canadian/Alaskan as it gets! :)

 

And now the next approaching holiday is Valentines!
