Busy days, pondering, asking...

During these busy days of December that here at our home are flying by, as I washed dishes I asked the girls "let's read the beatitudes this morning"
While reading the 'beatitudes'... we thought about breaking down these different spirits....
While looking at "mourn" I read this as well,

"In the Beatitudes, Jesus reminds His disciples that they cannot seek happiness the way the world does. True joy is not found in selfish ambition, excuses, or self-justification. An enviable state of blessedness comes to those who mourn over their own sin.
"These are the ones I look on with favor: those who are humble and contrite in spirit, and who tremble at my word" (Isaiah 66:2).

After looking at this verse, I can not help but be moved, challenged and ask myself
"do I tremble at His word ...enough"?
~ * ~ * ~ * ~ *

" For all those things hath mine hand made, and all those things have been, saith the Lord: but to this man will I look, even to him that is poor and of a contrite spirit, and trembleth at my word."
 Isaiah 66:2
Have a blessed Friday...
Lets remember to take time to enjoy this busy season and ponder God's word.

  1. Yes something we all should ponder more often. :) I enjoyed your pictures.

  2. Amen! I am amazed at how easy it is to get caught up in the hustle and bustle of this season. Thank you, sweet friend, for the reminder to SLOW DOWN and ponder God's Word. The birth of our Savior - what a gift to mankind!

    Love and hugs to you!

Hello~ Thank you so much for stopping over...
